Quick answer
Order one koozie per guest plus 15 to 20% extra for spares, late RSVPs and keepsakes. For weddings, add about 10 more for the wedding party and parents. For long events and giveaways, plan closer to 1.5 or 2 per guest. Then round up to the next blank pack, or to the next custom price tier.
The simple formula
Guests × 1.2, plus keepsakes = how many to order.
Example: 80 guests × 1.2 = 96, plus 10 keepsakes = 106. Blanks: a 100-pack plus a 6-pack (or 100 plus a few singles). Custom: 106 lands in the 100 to 124 tier at $1.87 each.

Weddings
Custom-printed neoprene koozies are a wedding favor guests keep and reuse. What works:
- One per guest plus 20% for plus-ones and late RSVPs. Add 10 for the wedding party, parents and your own keepsakes.
- Kids count if they get a favor. If only adults get one, take the kids out in the calculator.
- Pick the saying first. Our free koozie sayings generator has 208 wedding and party lines and sends any of them straight to the designer.
- Order early. Production is 3 to 5 business days after you approve the mockup, plus shipping. Three to four weeks out is comfortable.
Parties and BBQs
For backyard parties, tailgates and BBQs, one per guest is enough, but people set drinks down and grab a fresh one, so the 20% buffer matters. For 20 to 40 guests that works out to a 25 or 50-pack. Magnetic koozies are popular at BBQs because they stick to the grill and the fridge.
Corporate events and festivals
For giveaways, estimate attendance and plan 1.5 to 2 per person, since many are handed out as promo items. Custom orders of 200 to 300 get the lowest per-unit price. For blanks, 100-packs cost the least per unit. See under $1 bulk sleeves.

Frequently asked questions
How many koozies do I need for 100 wedding guests?
Order about 130: 100 for the guests, 20 spares for plus-ones and late RSVPs, and 10 keepsakes for the wedding party and parents. If you are keeping it tight, 120 works. The calculator above adjusts this for kids and your own spare percentage.
How many koozies for a party of 50?
About 60. One per guest plus 20% spares, because people set drinks down and grab another. For blanks that is a 50-pack plus a 12-pack. For custom prints, 60 puts you in the 50 to 99 price tier.
Should I get one or two koozies per person?
One per guest is the baseline for weddings and parties. Go to 1.5 or 2 per person for long events, festivals and promo giveaways where koozies are handed out freely.
Do kids count as guests?
For a wedding favor, usually yes, if they get a favor too. If the koozies are only going to adults, enter the number of kids in the calculator and they are taken out of the count.
What is the minimum and maximum for custom koozies?
Custom-printed regular and slim koozies start at 12 units, and 16 oz at 6. The designer takes up to 300 per order. For more than 300, use the quote form on the pricing calculator page.
How much do custom wedding koozies cost?
Regular 12 oz custom koozies with full-color printing on both sides are $2.21 each for 12 to 24 units and drop to $1.70 each for 200 to 300, as of September 25, 2026. There is no setup fee, no proof fee and no extra charge for two sides or full color. Custom orders of $45 or more ship free. Slim, 16 oz and camo prices are on the koozie pricing calculator.
What blank pack sizes do you offer?
Neoprene blanks come as single units and in packs of 6, 12, 25, 50 and 100. Foam sleeves also come in 200-packs. The best per-unit price is on the 100-packs.
How far ahead should I order custom koozies?
Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after you approve the mockup, plus shipping time. Ordering 3 to 4 weeks before the event leaves room for a mockup revision. If your date is closer, text (716) 415-0354 with your deadline before you order.
